Gunslinger
Quick facts:
Development time: 2 months
Engine: Original (using Java Game API)
Team size: 4
Role: Tools and Gameplay Programmer
Gunslinger is a J2ME mobile phone game built with the MIDP 2.0 Game API. It was developed by an informal team of four programmers in two months at The Guildhall at SMU.
My tasks included writing a PC-based map exporter and the game's map loader. I also implemented the game's physics and ported the game from the CLDC 1.1 standard to CLDC 1.0 by replacing all floating point operations with integer math.
