What's up with the columns, and why dphrygian.com? D Phrygian has been my internet handle for years. I am a music nerd and wanted a name derived from music theory. I chose D Phrygian because of the Phrygian mode's appealing quality and the fact that it matched my initials. The columns at the top of each page are Doric columns because the Phrygian mode was originally called the Dorian mode in ancient Greek music theory (Wikipedia). I like the color orange.
