I&#8217;m continuing to document my tools, which has also led me to explore some new filters for my modular synth music generator. I dove back into cascaded shadow maps to fix some shadow acne (which I think I introduced a year ago when I changed the renderer&#8217;s clipping planes for larger levels). I want to spend some time this weekend working on outdoor spaces; they don&#8217;t need to be as densely populated with enemies and items and occlusion as the indoor spaces from <em>Eldritch<\/em>, but they&#8217;re currently a little too bare, and that&#8217;s the sort of problem I should fix now before it becomes intractable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Short update this weekend, since most of today has been spent working on Real Job.
